Job Description:


We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the Receiver (Non-Ferrous) - Labourer position at our Ottawa East Location.


  • Receive, sort, and organize different types of nonferrous metals
  • Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
  • Properly weigh and track the material
  • Do general maintenance of the premises
  • Ensure the equipment is in good condition
  • Data entry into the RECY system
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
  • Work with a safetyoriented mindset

Qualifications:


  • A Minimum of 1 year of experience is required in a labourer role
  • Experience in the metal scrap industry will be considered as an asset
  • Experience in using machines like Lift Truck / Forklift, Skid steer will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
