Job Description:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the Receiver (Non-Ferrous) - Labourer position at our Ottawa East Location.

Receive, sort, and organize different types of nonferrous metals
Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
Properly weigh and track the material
Do general maintenance of the premises
Ensure the equipment is in good condition
Data entry into the RECY system
Provide excellent customer service
Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
Work with a safetyoriented mindset

Qualifications:

A Minimum of 1 year of experience is required in a labourer role
Experience in the metal scrap industry will be considered as an asset
Experience in using machines like Lift Truck / Forklift, Skid steer will be considered as an asset
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
