Scope of Position


The Wealthview Operations Analyst will be responsible for owning planning and implementing a strategic direction for our banking host, developing and fostering relationships with peers in the industry, and effectively managing the operation of our core banking system.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure, while driving innovation and operational excellence within the organization.


Major Responsibilities

Ownership of Wealthview Production and non-Production environments:

  • Oversee the infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure components.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for system administration, data backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Execute as per the strategic direction for our banking host platform, aligning it with business goals and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for technological advancements and propose innovative solutions to optimize banking operations.

Relationship Building and Industry Engagement:

  • Build and nurture relationships with peers, vendors, and industry professionals to stay informed about emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in industry conferences, forums, and networking events to share knowledge and contribute to the advancement of banking technology.

Core Banking System Operations:

  • Manage the daytoday operations of our core banking system, ensuring its smooth functioning and reliability.
  • Coordinate system updates, patches, and releases in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Identify and manage operational risks
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance of department and organizational polices

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including banking operations, security, compliance, and technology teams, to ensure effective integration and alignment of IT infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in the banking or financial services industry.
  • 7 years experience of the Wealthview core banking systems, platforms, and associated technologies.
  • 5 years experience and familiarity with banking regulations, compliance, and security standards.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation of IT initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, ITIL) will be considered a strong asset
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
