    *Job description*Peachland Pharmacy is welcoming applicants for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to assist the team in Peachland, BC.

    As a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, you will operate in accordance with the scope of practice and standards of practice as outlined by the College of Pharmacists BC.

    *Job Description*· Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners

    • Ensure that a prescription is complete and authentic
    • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
    • Prepare and process prescriptions by performing duties such as entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, packaging, or repackaging medications
    • Ensure the accuracy of a prepared prescription
    • Perform the final check of a prepared prescription
    • Ensure the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
    *Job Requirements*· Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program

    • Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
    • Above average oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Compounding experience is an asset
    Injection Trained

    $23.00-$27.00 per hour
