About The Role
ELP is one of Canada's leading experiential and virtual event production companies.

We have a thorough knowledge and understanding of live and hybrid events as well as expertise in the digital and broadcast environment.

How to work within all these disciplines is critical for anyone joining our team.

Reporting to the Manager of Production Experience, the goal of our Producer is to create and manage epic, thought-provoking live events, and virtual programs.

As our Producer, you will:

• Motivate and lead teams to successfully plan and execute epic live events and virtual programs from conception to completion
• Ensure projects remain within budget
• Own and manage productive and collaborative relationships with source partners and key vendors to source, negotiate, and define timelines
• Attend and conduct site inspections to create impactful staging designs and oversee production and technical aspects of assigned projects
• Attend technical rehearsals, client rehearsals, and event days
• Build and manage show flows and other essential production documents

Stay current in design trends, entertainment, production, vendor products, and new industry technologies


Are you the one we are looking for?

• Education/Experience_
• A minimum of 5+ years working in live event, virtual and broadcast event production
• Experiential marketing experience
• Strong understanding of budget planning, management, and reconciliation
• Agency and client service experience
• Management or supervisory experience is an asset
• Skills/Strengths_
• Thoughtful leadership skills
• Extraordinary client service skills
• Strong collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized team player
• Technical and digital vocabulary and knowledge
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Bilingual abilities an asset

Technical Skills

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Strong working knowledge of virtual/digital platforms and tools
• Indepth understanding of technical equipment an assets, including lighting, audio, video, webcasting, etc.
• Familiarity with RTMP, SRT streaming
• Able to create forms, input formulations, graph results, and make presentations
• Knowledge and experience in desktop publishing and/or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset

This full-time position does require some physical strain, including sitting, standing, walking, and minor lifting when setting up and dismantling events.

Due to the nature of the event industry, flexibility to work beyond a 9-5, Monday to Friday schedule is a must.
