JOB SUMMARY


Under the supervision of the Guest Service Manager, the Night Auditor is responsible for the processing of arrivals and departures, registering the day's transactions and correct all errors.

The Night Auditor is responsible for all emergencies during his work shift. In addition, the Night Auditor takes care of all Guest Service Agent responsibilities occurring during the night shift.

YOUR ROLE

  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service
  • Check in and out guests, answer phones and take reservations
  • Respond to guest comments, requests and emergencies
  • Execute accounting tasks related to night audit:
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Balance cash drawer and log receipts
  • Investigate and resolve outofbalance accounts
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Prepare night audit reports and forward to Management
  • Ensure onsite security of property and guests overnight
  • Report followup to the team members on the next morning shift
  • Be discreet and respect confidentiality in regards to guests
  • Any other needed task as requested by Management

YOUR PROFILE

  • Previous Front office or Night Auditor experience an asset
  • Experience with hotel Property Management Softwares (Opera PMS an asset)
  • Able to manage unpredictable situations showing creativity and professionalism
  • Good problemsolving and organizational skills, ability to multitask, sense of responsibility, initiative and autonomy are essentials
  • An eye for detail and job well done
