In your role, you will:

Optimize the logistics in direct support to the Production / CSG team
Monitor the purchased and manufactured shortages and resolving them with the Internal Logistics and Suppliers team
Ensure visibility to the production team on the resolution of shortages
Comply with the operational processes, the employee performance management and development processes, while developing a mobilizing and winning work climate;
Define Logistics KPIs & governance, ensure proper training and development of team members;
Build and develop of the Logistics team based on the operational needs
Ensure a strong & continuous alignment with your Logistics peers from Toronto
Optimize internal and external processes;
Promote and act as a leader for Operational Excellence implementation;
Ensure the compliance with the Manufacturing Strategy and the achievement of the highest Logistics standards

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Operations Management or five (5) years of relevant experience in Logistics.
You are fully bilingual (english and french) written and spoken;
You have experience in Logistics;
You have knowledgeable with SAP and/or BAAN would be an asset
You have good leadership in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners, in a context of new product industrialization;
You have the capacity to work with concepts and translate them into solid execution plans, good project management skills;
You have good leadership, communication and coaching skills, you are recognized for your ability to mobilize and engage a team;
You have experience in the Aerospace Industry and the understanding of the aircraft and its components would be an asset;
You have knowledge with the Microsoft Suite;
You have the availability to travel from time to time.
