Description
We are looking for a qualified Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide daily assistance to patients. You will help them with their day-to-day needs and collaborate with medical professionals to achieve excellent patient care.

Patient care technicians are healthcare professionals supervised by doctors, nurses, or other healthcare professionals in the facility.

They provide basic care services to patients and perform a variety of basic tasks such as monitoring patients' vitals, taking note of patient concerns, and assisting patients with mobility issues, and more.


Patient Care Technician duties and responsibilities

  • Assist registered healthcare workers with administering various treatments
  • Monitor and report changes in a patient's conditions to a nurse or physician
  • Provide physical assistance to patients when moving between different care departments
  • Perform basic procedures like taking patient temperature, recording blood pressure, collecting specimens for testing, and administering medication
  • Deliver meals to assigned patients and feed them as necessary
  • Clean and sanitize treatment areas, beds, and medical equipment
  • Maintain and repair patient care supplies and equipment
  • Provide emotional support to the patient

$25.65-$41.98 per hour
