JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties:
- As a professional member of the Indigenous Relations Team, provides specialized expertise in
- facilitating the resolution of conflict, and ensuring duty to consult and related regulatory processes
- are executed.
- Leads relationships with First Nations in Southwest BC to foster collaboration and advance
- Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's

- Leads BC Hydro's consultation with First Nations on capital projects and related regulatory and

Qualifications:
***- University Undergraduate degree in First Nations Studies, Public Administration, political
science, land and resource management, law, anthropology or related discipline or equivalent.- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a business environment (public or private sector,
preferably resource-based organization).- Subject matter expertise in First Nation relationship-building, consultation and engagement,
including proven experience working with Indigenous Peoples to advance projects and initiatives.
- Experience in the clean energy sector.
- Experience with environmental assessment and preparing provincial and federal regulatory
