JOB TITLE:
Warehouse Manager
CATEGORY OF EMPLOYMENT/CLASSIFICATION:
Full-time, immediate
JOB SUMMARY:
Manage day-to-day production along with logistics and scheduling of work performed.
Hours: 9am-5pm
KUUS Inc. and KUUsport are manufacturers and distributors of a variety of summer and winter products.
We are looking for a professional multitasker that can manage domestic and international shipping, receiving, picking, packing, handling, storing, product assembly, product manufacturing, quality control, and necessary protocols.
Managing the inventory will be a critical part of the job, have strong computer skills and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
DUTIES:
Oversee all work that is set-up during the day by all the warehouse staff.
Coordinate with the office staff to ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of incoming as well as outgoing shipments.
Able to proactively think ahead and take initiative to anticipate competing deadlines and challenges.
Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
Work with staff on an individual and group basis to maintain order of warehouse.
Lift and move boxes, products from place to place.
Perform other duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by business owners.
Capable of being a team member and working with others.
Motivate staff.
Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum college degree in logistics, warehousing or general business management or equivalent experience.
- Forklift license is an asset.
- Company will support in obtaining a forklift license if currently not available.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct verbal and written feedback.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
