Psychiatrist - Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital

We have open needs for Psychiatrists ONSITE for an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital in Lakewood, Washington, near Tacoma. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services and work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity.

• Annual Salary is $294,000
• Full time, Mon - Fri
• Relocation assistance up to $12,000
• $10,000 for Board Certification
• $10,000 Sign on bonus
• Meet with mentally ill patient-inmates for crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, etc.
• Conduct mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess patients current needs and make treatment recommendations.
• General adult, geriatric and forensic populations
• Psychiatric hospital serving western Washington that provides evaluation and inpatient treatment for adults with serious or long-term behavioral health issues
• Loan forgiveness program available up to $25,000 for qualifying employees
• Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice medicine in Washington State
• Successful completion of ACGME approved residency in Psychiatry.
• Strong psychopharmacology skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals are essential
• Ability to pass a background check including criminal record history
• MUST be able to speak and understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
