Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Staffing to lead our talent acquisition efforts and build a high-performing recruitment team. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of human resources, recruiting strategies, and staffing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation, communication, and research skills, with a proven track record in talent sourcing and HR technology systems such as Workday, iCIMS, Salesforce, and ATS platforms. As a key member of our HR leadership team, the Director of Staffing will drive initiatives to attract top talent, enhance employee relations, and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive staffing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts across multiple channels including cold calling, lead generation, and leveraging HRIS systems like PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos, and Workday.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring effective use of ATS platforms such as iCIMS and leveraging HR tools like Lever.
  • Manage relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide consultative support on candidate selection.
  • Conduct negotiations with candidates and external agencies to secure top talent while maintaining organizational standards.
  • Supervise recruiting teams to ensure efficient candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
  • Implement training & development programs for recruitment staff to enhance their skills in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies related to hiring practices.
  • Utilize data analytics from HRIS systems to monitor recruitment metrics and improve staffing processes.
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication strategies and ongoing engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or human resources leadership roles with a focus on staffing management.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR sourcing techniques, recruiting tools (ATS such as iCIMS or Lever), and HRIS platforms (Workday, PeopleSoft).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding software (UltiPro), payroll systems (ADP), time management tools (Kronos), and CRM solutions like Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead recruitment teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in employee relations, training & development, and strategic planning within human resources.
  • Strong research skills for market analysis and talent mapping.
