Your Skills:
Knowledge and experience required
- University or college degree in mechanical engineering (an asset)
- Knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement principles (an asset)
- Knowledge of good prevention practices in the workplace, and compliance related to occupational health and safety, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of the transportation industry
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Familiar with the use of an ERP system, and good understanding of business processes
- Proficiency in French (oral and written), and functional English
- At least 5 years of experience in a production supervisor role, in a manufacturing context
- Experience of managing teams in an environment respectful of diversity
- Experience in a context of accelerated growth (an asset)

In this role, he/she provides positive leadership, and in collaboration with the team, participates in the management of operations with a view to continuous improvement, and contributes to the organization's efforts to maintain commitment to standards in terms of quality and employee experience, in line with the company's mission and values.
He/she uses best practices as well as the management tools that the company makes available to him/her to measure the performance of his/her team on an ongoing basis.
In collaboration with his immediate supervisor and the human resources department, he participates in the hiring, training, development and performance evaluation of the people under his supervision and ensures that he has at all times a motivated and competent team.
