Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for day to day trade processing and settlement functions. The Specialist may participate in various ad hoc assignments including new projects.

How You'll Succeed- Monitor, analyze and process trading transactions in our proprietary and vendor systems.- Work with brokers and custodian banks to resolve trade settlement problems in a timely manner.- Process trade corrections on any identified errors.

Work with compliance and various other teams on the reporting of these errors.- Security Master Setup on our trading platform for a limited range of securities.- Maintain broker and custodian information accurately within the trading system and various other systems.- Follow all procedures and controls within the Operations team.- Individual must be familiar with a variety of equity, fixed income and international including experience in operationally supporting post trade processing for trade matching, confirmation, trade settlement and regulatory reporting.- Bachelor's degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business years of Investment Operations experience.- Securities industry knowledge preferred.- Charles River Development/Moxy knowledge a plus.- Exposure to FIX protocol/SWIFT messaging and intermediate understanding thereof- Monitor the trade matching, confirmation and settlements process across multiple platforms for varying security types.- Familiarity with post trade platforms (ex: SWIFT, CTM, Oasys)- Computer literacy skills are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.- This position requires strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; exceptional analytical and organizational skills, an attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude.- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively multi-task.
