Commercial Lines - Customer Service Representative (RIBO Licensed)
Position Summary:
Service of Personal Lines Client accounts. Evaluate, select and offer best product, advise, claims support and pricing to customers.

- Demonstrated proficiency and resourcefulness in identifying and analyzing relevant data and defining critical issues and alternatives.
Functions:
- Ensure all company procedures are followed.
- Process all renewals and correspondence diligently and professionally.
- Ensure all binders, renewals and documentation is processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain customer files by documenting our Broker Management System efficiently
- Receive and return phone calls from customers and underwriters.
- Be able to effectively answer customer's questions, resolve problems and provide
- Work independently with underwriters and establish good rapport and respect for one another.
- Assist in ensuring quality risk selection and pricing to maximize brokerage profitability and increase retention.
- Ensure endorsements, renewals, reissues, and cancellations are reviewed and analyzed in accordance with corporate standards and guidelines_
._ - Consult with senior staff regarding unique or unusual risks to minimize adverse risk
- Complete data entry to ensure timeliness of transaction processing concerning policy and customer information.
Experience / Knowledge / Educational Requirements:
- RIBO licenced with 3 years experience
- C.A.I.B., C.I.P., F.C.I.B., F.C.I.P., C.R.M., B.Comm, B.A. would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Broker Management Systems (EPIC), Compu Quote (ARS) and Insurance Company Portals
- Understanding and implementing brokerage underwriting philosophy.
- Working knowledge of Claims processes, Risk Management, Premium Accounting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 36
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Postsecondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Business or related discipline).
- Effectively communicate with insurance companies on underwriting, billing, policy processing and claims.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional and technical development.
