Repair Supervisor Career Opportunity


Ashley HomeStore Canada - The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Repair Supervisor Team within our Mississauga Distribution Centre located at 333 Matheson Ave W.


As a Repair Supervisor you will lead Furniture Repair Technicians to ensure the completion of scheduled repairs of damaged product both In-Shop and In-Home.

As the Repair Supervisor you will:
Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training employees.

Assist in the development of Repair Technician Certification Program

Monitor productivity through coaching, counselling, and holding employees accountable.

Ensure staffing level and assignments of the department adheres to Capacity Planner.

Responsible for the safe, timely, and effective flow of scheduled routes

Assist in the monthly reviews of Capacity Planner to meet repair demands.

Record daily Fleet Management & Maintenance schedules

Monitor Repair Damaged & SVC Inventory levels

Monitor and order supplies for RepShop.

Validation of routing effectiveness

Upload and schedule routes daily Repairs.

Responsible for data availability and accuracy in reporting system to facilitate preparation of productivity reports and key performance indicators.

Responsible for controlling flow of COGs - Customer Owed Goods within the department

Ability to effectively delegate tasks as required.

Exercise quality control audits on product repairs In-Shop & In-Home

Effective communication between Furniture Repair Technicians and all internal customers

Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules.

Enforce safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.

Complete audits of Repair records in Dispatch Track reports for In-Home and In-Shop routes as prescribed by Manager, Repair.

High School diploma, post-secondary education preferred.

Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a shipping and transportation environment.


Demonstrates a working knowledge of MS Office products with a strong knowledge of Delivery Logistics software such as Dispatch Track and an ability to learn in-house computer programs.
