Who you are
You have a High School diploma

Having technical studies in carpentry (College or CEGEP level) an asset

You have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation

You can pass a background check

You have experience with computer, iPad and technology (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and others)

You have excellent English (if applicable) verbal and written communication skills

You can deliver the most professional, efficient and highest quality installation in the industry

You can communicate effectively and politely with team members and customers

You possess professionalism, energy, motivation, enthusiasm and integrity

You demonstrate persistence, overcome obstacles and strive to improve skills and achieve goals

You enjoy working on the road and in customers' home

You are detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy

You are highly organized and flexible as business dictates

You can multitask and meet changing deadlines

You are self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision


Your responsibilities
Assemble all cabinet materials using hand or power tools

Understand plans and determine if client needs additional pieces to complete job

Inventory all cabinet materials received from IKEA and record and report any damaged or defective items, missing items and/or surplus item

Assist Installation Technician with installation of assembled cabinets

Perform the cabinet assembly and installation at the location provided by the customer per the procedures and guidelines set out in the Company's training material

Store and secure all tools and materials at the end of the day to protect people, pets and objects

Ensure that jobsite is maintained in an organized, safe and orderly fashion

Ensure that all garbage is ready for disposal by separating and breaking down cardboard, plastic and offcuts

Develop a working knowledge of the IKEA product lines

Represent the Company in a respectful, friendly and professional manner

Communicate professionally with customer as directed by Installation Technician or as needed

Complete all training requests by Company and perform such training in accordance with the requirements of Company

Safety first, in everything we do.

Consistently follow all safety rules and precautions for using hand and power tools

The starting rate/salary for this position is $ 18.85


The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $ 18.85 to $ 23.00 and will be based on relevant work experience.
