Responsibilities:


  • The research associate works under the supervision of the Director of research and in collaboration with other production and research scientists.
  • Duties include but are not limited to conducting experiments, collect and organize data, organize inventory, generate data to support the quality of products, maintain lab books and other documentation organized and updated, keep the working area clean and ordered, observe health and safety measures in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Master degree or higher in
    Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, or similar career.
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment (pipettes, glassware, balances, pH meters, centrifuges, general laboratory equipment).
  • Outstanding organization and attentiontodetail skills.
  • Proven knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Verbal, written, and organizational skills at an above average level with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Selfstarter that can carry out tasks with mínimal oversight.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain data and results clearly and communicate effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure in a highpaced environment.
  • Able to comply with COVID19 regulations.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work in a strictly confidential and professional manner.

Salary:
$45,000.00-$85,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
