Description

Creative Coping for Kids (CCK) was developed to meet an identified need to assist children and their mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, or their female guardians who have experienced family violence.

Responsibilities:

Provide cofacilitator services for the Creative Coping for Kids program as per the terms of the Ministry of Community and Social Services
Implement psychoeducational intervention based on an evidencebased model
Organize and facilitate ongoing group sessions, whether inperson or remotely, as needed
Maintain accurate and uptodate files on clients as per Inspire Community Support Services Policies and Procedures manual
Prepare and complete paperwork relevant to program management
Attend supervision with the Director of Clinical Services or designate, and mandatory Creative Coping for Kids meetings as per Coordinator
Work closely with other Inspire Community Support Services staff to track and measure participant progress and safety

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational background and/or experience working in a relevant human services field such as social work, criminology, psychology, or social services
Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to multitask
Knowledge regarding, but not limited to partner abuse, child abuse, and the dynamics of violence and abuse
Competence in group facilitation and educational/curriculum delivery
Prepared to undergo a check for a criminal record check before the offer of a position can be confirmed

Salary:
$18 per hour
