Description

Responsibilities:


  • Complete material takeoffs on elevation drawings
  • Work closely with engineering department to identify material required for production orders
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts
  • Learn all material profiles and colours
  • Understand material utilization and requirements on site for installation
  • Assist with materials optimization
  • Utilize ERP system to audit material requirements for shop orders
  • Prepare required paperwork to Production for picking of materials

Qualifications:


  • Secondary school completion is required
  • Auto CAD experience is required
  • Ability to read architectual and structural drawings including floor plans
  • Supply chain materials coordination experience an asset
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aluminum Window Wall and Door Manufacturing or other building materials experience an asset.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Material Take Offs: 2 years (preferred)

  • Auto

CAD:
1 year (preferred)
Reading Architectural Drawings: 1 year (preferred)
