Position Summary


Under the general direction of the Manager or Assistant Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger, this position is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the restaurant.

Provides input for Performance Evaluations. Implements new F&B initiatives as directed.

Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

**Key Accountabilities

  • Schedules and supervises team members; verifies time and attendance; assig ns shift work assignments; ensures appropriate coverage while minimizing operating costs as directed
  • Implements new F&B initiatives as directed
  • Monitors cash outs and forwards discrepancy reports to management/accounting
  • Completes shift reports for management and for the next shift
  • Monitors staff meals (if applicable)
  • Organizes and participates in the monthly inventory count and forwards inventory reports to management
  • Offers food and beverage expertise to internal and external customers
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members and vendors
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

Manages other initiatives as required


Education and Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education in hospitality or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year food and beverage team lead experience
  • Food Safety certification
  • Serving it Right certification
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • POS experience Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular office, restaurant and casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time and nontraditional work hours
