SUMMARY:


The Compounding Manager is responsible for the compounding manufacturing department, including the day-to-day management of all activities necessary to execute the manufacturing plan.

Its role is to deliver this plan by ensuring and respecting health and safety, quality, planning, management, recognition and monetary standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The Compounding Manager is responsible, directly or through his supervision team, for the following:
  • The health and safety of its employees;
  • The level of commitment of all of its staff;
  • The quality of products and documents;
  • Compliance with GMPs and internal sanitation programs;
  • The performance of its sector and the efficiency of the employees;
  • Customer satisfaction (internal and external);
  • The environmental performance of its sector
  • He plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of the value chain in his sector.
  • He plans and organizes the proper functioning of his sector by establishing standard processes.
  • Plans longterm resource needs and organizes the plan to meet production needs;
  • He actively participates in the planning of continuous improvement projects (Kaizen) in his sector, he manages some of the critical projects himself and accompanies his LPT certified employees in the projects they have to deliver.
  • He is an active participant in the organization's CS&OP process, he plans and organizes the resulting actions.
  • Irreproachable in his attitude, he audits the processes in place, the work of his supervisors and gives them advice and support in their daily work.
  • He participates in the preparation of the plant's annual budget and identifies the investment needs in his sector.
  • Concerned about the importance of resources, he ensures the wellbeing of employees and is attentive to people's needs. It communicates the vision of the company and explains how the sector will contribute to it. He remains well connected to employees by meeting them regularly in different forums and quickly answering their questions ("Town Hall", focus group, projects, etc.). He "coaches" his supervisors, gives them feedback on their actions and decisions, evaluates their performance and ensures that the team is well aligned with the company's values and mission.
  • Develops and executes health and safety, quality, service, productivity, waste and cost action plans for the service in partnership with all necessary support functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering;
  • 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in managing a production group;
  • Essential bilingualism (French and English);
  • Multifunctional experience and in a pharmaceutical environment (an asset).
