to work at FANUC Mississauga daily, as part of the Project Management and Administration Group.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, sales, engineering, and the shop team to deliver projects on time and in budget
  • Organize project kickoffs, materials, tracking grids, purchased items, and logistics required to deliver incoming FANUC Canada orders
  • Prepare technical and commercial drawings, documents and spreadsheets as required for build approval and ongoing change requests
  • Lead project delivery from kickoff to closeout, coordinating resources and materials to achieve cost targets and ensure the quoted scope of supply is delivered
  • Manage schedule and materials change requests, updating project tracking sheets, revenue, budgets, margins, schedules, and invoicing in a timely manner
  • Manage assigned tasks to project engineers and integration technicians to ensure that the completed project meets the quoted customer requirements and FANUC build standards
  • Occasionally travel to FANUC and customer sites and comply with FANUC and customer schedules, work rules, policies and conduct standards
  • Kickoff: Review the quoted proposal and customer PO to ensure that there are no discrepancies in contract or pricing between the documents
  • Execution: Create and update tracking sheets, robot configurations, change requests, schedules, revenue forecasts and installments, and customer communication
  • Upon completion of bills of materials procure FANUC and nonFANUC materials to align with scheduled shop floor execution
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated within the relevant folder on the network
  • Coordinate/schedule transportation requirements with customers and provide packing slips/commercial invoices and scheduling information internally within FANUC
  • Work with supervisors and management to forecast related project revenue and reconcile differences between project orders and invoicing
  • Work with management to ensure orders, deliveries and invoicing match, robot and material transactions are completed, and customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • A postsecondary degree in electrical or mechanical or systems engineering or related experience
  • 15 years of Project Management experience working with automation, manufacturing, robot integration, and robot installation are preferred
  • Read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings, software flow diagrams related to FANUC Robots and Controllers, and review payloads, simulations, and structural requirements related to robot installations
  • Manage technical, contractual and schedule details in an organized and professional manner
  • Comply with OHSA Laws and FANUC Safety Guidelines and other related policies in a stressful and demanding environment
