SUMMARY
- Multiple positions available
- Part time hours are available (525 hours a week)
- Availability should be before school (Monday to Friday 6:309:00am) and after school (Monday to Thursday after 3:00pm and Fridays after 12:00pm). We also offer weekend programming so weekend availability is an asset
JOB DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Staff are responsible to
- provide exceptional care to our clients with various types of developmental, physical or cognitive disabilities
- Work collaboratively with the professional team including families to ensure a supportive environment that enhances client care.
- Seek guidance from the therapy team on an ongoing basis in order to best support the child and achieve goals

- Training is provided by qualified staff as well as any specific client training will be given.

$15.00 per hour

- Do you have experience working with students/clients with exceptional needs?
- The position of an Behaviour Coach can involve working with students with severe behavioural challenges.
Behaviours may include but are not limited to:
severe opposition, hitting, kicking, spitting, biting, scratching, throwing of objects and the use of inappropriate and/or threatening language. Are you willing to work with students with severe behavioural challenges?
- The position of an Behaviour Coach can involve students with complex medical needs this may include: physical limitations, assisting with OT/PT, feeding/tube feeding, and medication administration/monitoring. Are you willing to work with students with complex medical needs?
- The position of an Behaviour Coach can involve students needing assistance with personal care. This can include grooming, toileting and diapering students in early education through to grade 12. Are you willing to work with students with personal care needs?
- A Behaviour Coach is normally required to brisk walk/run to ensure student safety. Are you able to brisk walk/run?
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
