Inside Sales & Account Manager


Cascade Flow Control Solutions is looking for an experienced inside sales representative with an engineering background to help maintain and grow our customer base.


Job Requirements:


  • A degree in Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of previous work experience in a technical sales/engineering role.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and time in a fastpaced environment.
  • Drive to provide prompt and quality customer service to our valued customers.
  • The ability to generate new inquiries with prospective customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of CRM is required.

Job Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

  • Responding to customer inquiries.
  • Sourcing products based on customer requirements, determining if stock or nonstock items are special order.
  • Following company pricing guidelines or making recommendations for special approval.
  • Assisting with vendor referrals/inquiries and requirements.
  • Submitting quotes and project bids to customers with associated pricing, delivery schedule and specifications.
  • Processing orders same day as received and send confirmation of order to customer.
  • Contacting customers within 24hours to ensure quotes are received and getting clarification if necessary.
  • Proactiveness in updating customer on status of orders with information provided from purchaser or shipper throughout order cycle.
  • Participating in meetings with sales team & management to develop sales objectives, strategies, and forecasts.
  • Providing feedback to management on successful and/or unsuccessful opportunities and customer comments regarding continuous improvement items such as inventory and new stock.
  • Discussing opportunities/leads with sales team and management.
  • Attending and participating in conferences/trade shows if/when required.
  • Filling in for shipper/receiver when absent (sick days/vacation).
