Responsibilities:
- Physical and electronic processing of OERMs (customer returns)
- Physical and electronic processing of PORMs (vendor returns)
- Identification of returned material
- Management of unavailable inventory as a result of product being returned from customers requiring further inspection or accumulation for regular return to vendors
- Coordination with vendors to arrange for product inspections on damaged, defective, or questionable goods
- Maintenance of product matches on OERM entered in Trend to the actual physical receipt of goods
- Management of products to be returned to vendors through a provided or acquired RGA (Return Goods Authorization)
- Completing arrangements for third party carriers when required to return goods to vendors
- Participate in the development and modification of TWL procedures
- Basic daytoday TWL problem solving
- Unpicking of cancelled orders where available to avoid unnecessary invoices and credits
- Work closely with several departments such as Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Purchasing, etc.
- Maintenance of department paperwork and file system for documents to be retrieved when requested
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Additional department tasks when required
Qualifications:
You Must Have:
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
- Comfortable working in a multiERP/WMS System environment
- Interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively build a positive relationship with team members
- Ability to foster a teamfirst environment that strives for excellence
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines and must have the ability to meet daily targets
- An eye for detail, with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Willingness to learn advanced processes
Nice to Have:
- Plumbing and/or HVAC product knowledge is a strong asset
