Packaging Operator
Nature of Work


This unit group includes person who perform material handling stone & sand, production, packaging, clean-up and other elemental activities in process of manufacturing products.

Main Duties

Person in this unit group perform some or all the following duties:

  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Sort and package materials and products
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Know and understand the Employee Responsibility to Health & Safety (section OHSA)
  • Work in compliance with the provision of the Health & Safety Policy and the Policy & Procedure of the company
  • Yearround position

Salary:
From $18.50 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
