Job Summary

As a leading, multi-faceted, independent financial services provider with over $100 billion in assets under management and administration, iA Wealth and its underlying divisions serve and communicate with a diverse audience, including hundreds of thousands of investors across Canada, over 10,000 industry advisors, 2,300 affiliated advisors, and 780 employees.

Responsibilities

Lead all facets of an integrated and efficient communications support function across iA Wealth, maintaining consistent, highquality standards
Proactively plan and manage the annual corporate communications calendar
Establish comprehensive annual communications plans for line of business leaders, working to elevate engagement and awareness with all stakeholders
Work collaboratively with business groups/stakeholders at all levels, to assess communications needs and advise on appropriate messaging, timing, and medium(s)
Abide by professional editorial standards for clear and effective communications support that are aligned in both English and French
Coordinate with the iAFG public relations team for issue resolution support
Lead planning and content development for quarterly iA Clarington and iA Private Wealth employee townhalls and monthly newsletters
Manage and support curation of iA Wealth's divisional intranet, establishing an efficient article submission process with editorial oversight
Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external editorial resources
Drive internal and advisor communication programs, projects and campaigns that protect and enhance the firm's brand reputation and support its future growth

Knowledge, experience, skills and expertise

Bilingual: advanced proficiency in English and French speaking, reading and writing is required
At least 58 years of progressive communications experience, with minimum 2 years of direct experience in investment management or financial services industries
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or Communications is preferred, or related educational experience in a communicationsoriented discipline
Expert interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with all levels within the organization
Demonstrated skill in briefing, editing, and content direction
Exceptional eye for detail
Proactive and highly organized, with excellent time management capabilities
Decisive, with effective problemsolving skills
Multitasker, flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations
Results driven, able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Ability to work in a team environment
