Job Summary
Currently seeking an individual to join our processing team, who are essential in our day-to-day operations.

The Packaging and Labelling Tech will need to be detail oriented, knowledgeable in various Cannabis bud sizes, and pre-roll units.

The tech will collaborate with the Quality-Assurance and Processing Manager(s) daily to ensure our product is compliant, reliable, and safe.

Duties may also consist of various facility and garden maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Commit to Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee Cannabis Regulations are met.
Uphold our facility standards for legal and safe cannabis/edibles production.
Manage daily progress logs with a focus on accountability and transparency.
Be able to maintain a clean and sanitized workstation (production equipment, tools, etc).
Assist the Processing Manager in an effective and efficient manner.
Have the ability and/or experience in trimming and postharvest requirements.

Qualifications:

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass security clearance (background check)
Ability to lift upto and move 50lbs, standing/bending/sitting for extended periods of time
A local resident in the Edmonton area and have dependable transportation
Ready to wear Personal Protective Equipment (including clothing covers, gloves, masks, hair net, etc.)
Basic math skills
Read and write English
Basic computer skills

Preferred Assets

Experience in food and beverage considered an asset
Experience in manufacturing considered an asset
Experience on assembly line production is an asset
Competencies in Canada's Cannabis Industry Policies (Cannabis Act)

Skills/ Assets/ Abilities

Basic skills with hand tools
Computer literacies such as Microsoft Office
Bilingual
