About the Opportunity


As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding the various technologies (hardware and software) used across the organization and for identifying educational needs, designing educational materials, and delivering training to employees and managers across the organization.

Regular travel is required to all provinces in which we operate.

  • Determining learning objectives and outcomes using content
  • Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
  • Researching best practices to implement current programs
  • Creating facilitator and participant guides, resources and training materials
  • Providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs

About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability, you bring the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A Certificate in Adult Education and/or Train the Trainer or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in instructional design or educational design
  • Minimum 5 years experience in content development
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and LMS implementation
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
