Field Operator - Dawson Creek, Canada - Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd

Description

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Field Operator for our Dawson Creek branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today's safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.

This position offers a 8/6 shift with the opportunity to be home every night Due to the nature of this project, no camp or LOA is available. Candidates must live within the Dawson Creek region to be considered.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience of operations in sour gas/oil gathering & processing
• Plunger lift experience an asset
• Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
• Must live within commuting distance of Dawson Creek, BC
• Preference will be given to applicants with a limited company and truck
