    Job Description

    Mental Health and Substance Use Triage Nurses are sought after to provide holistic, evidence-informed nursing care in a variety of settings. They will conduct initial client screening, assess client care needs, and coordinate site-specific allocations/assignments.


    Nurses must have two years of recent experience providing nursing care for individuals with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. A valid BC Driver's License is required as local area travel may require the use of a vehicle or other accepted mode of transportation.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Provide triage services including initial client assessment and coordination with internal teams for referrals

    • Liaise with emergency agencies such as ambulances or crisis intervention workers when addressing urgent situations

    • Prioritize workload accordingly ensuring timely response to all clients' requests
