Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare painting and drawing activities to meet the needs and interests of kids and teens
  • Teach painting and drawing to kids and teens based on school's policies
  • Develop lesson plans for the classes
  • Develop ageappropriate instructional strategies to achieve the art curriculum goals
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is ageappropriate
  • Set and maintain acceptable standards of classroom behavior to establish an orderly learning environment
  • Show students how to properly use and care for art materials, tools and equipment
  • The position is not remote, and we need applicants who live in Toronto

Key Qualifications

  • Having a degree (Diploma, Bachelor, etc.) in Art preferably in visual arts
  • Having at least 1year experience in teaching painting and drawing
