    As part of Modern Niagara's Technology team, the Integration Specialist will work directly with our Senior Integration Architect. You will be working to set direction for the evolution of Modern Niagara's integrations supports teams in resolving architectural issues and approved designs.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the development and maintenance of an integration architecture blueprint / framework for the organization.
    • Play a key role in all integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.
    • Assist with the testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas
    • deploy to production
    • Identify redundant or obsolete integrations within the existing integration architecture framework
    • Review and enhance the current integration architecture's monitoring and notification capabilities to help mitigate risk to the operations of the business with early warnings
    • Liaise with software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.
    • Evaluate any dependencies for each process
    • Analyze the risk factor of running the process (dependencies)
    • Looking for ways to optimize each process by reviewing the current integration architectures monitoring and notification capabilities Qualifications and Job Requirements:
      • College diploma or university degree, preferable in Computer Science or related fields with 2-3 years practical experience in information systems.
      • Experience with Boomi is mandatory
      • Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools
      • Integration experience in cloud integration platform
      • Experience in working with SOAP/REST, XML, JSON etc. is required
      • Self motivated individual capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining a commitment to coach and mentor others
      • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
      • Outstanding writing and documentation skills.
      • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
      • Able to conduct research into application integration issues and products.
      • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
      • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
      • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
      • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
