Geriatric Psychiatrist Opportunity

Are you a dedicated and passionate Geriatric Psychiatrist looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We invite you to consider this exciting position in our Psychiatry department at Penticton Regional Hospital.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams in acute and community settings, providing geriatric inpatient management within the acute care setting including psychiatric units. Additionally, they will be involved in outreach services to primary and community residential care, as well as potential opportunities with developmental disability mental health services.

As an integral member of our team, you will also enjoy teaching opportunities with medical students through affiliation with UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program. Participation in on-call schedules is expected.

A leadership development program is available through Interior Health's Emerging Physician Leaders Program. The program provides comprehensive leadership skills training for high-potential physicians aiming to step into leadership roles early in their careers.
