    Job type:
    Permanent, full-time Locations: Various project locations in Greater Vancouver area, BC Hourly wage: $27.00 Skills requirements: Completion of high school is required; At least 1-2 years of proven experience as an electrician is required; Good command of English; Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent is an asset


    Main duties:
    Read blueprints and technical diagrams; Check signs for visual defects and faulty electrical and mechanical connections; Install, replace and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies and other electrical components using hand tools and power tools; Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components; Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices; Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or equipment; Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
