General Description:

As the Pontoon captain at Fox Harb'r Resort, you will meet and interact with guests and members from around the world while helping them create personalized luxury experiences and exceeding their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Guide individuals or groups on 2-hour kayaking tours
Assist with sport shooting, fishing, hiking, pontoon boat tours and all other activities
Be highly knowledgeable about the Resort's activities
Confirm, modify and cancel all guest reservations which include, but are not limited to: sport shooting, trail rides, kayaking, boat cruises etc
Coordinate Activity Guides as needed
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments
Must have the ability to perform other administrative tasks or projects as assigned by Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Small water craft operator's license
Knowledge of local water
Knowledge of marine life and birds
Valid Nova Scotia driver's license
Strong computer knowledge with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous Property Management System experience an asset
Must possess a professional presentation and positive outgoing personality
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to partner with other departments and interact with guests and members in a courteous and professional service manner
Ability to take initiative, ensuring follow through, and effectively adapting to changes
Enjoy working outdoors
