Position Summary

Location:
Burnaby, BC

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Reporting to:
Production Manager

Essential Functions

Setting up PEM and Press Brake machines and looking up part programs to perform assigned tasks.
Coordinate with Team Lead on workscheduled tasks to ensure IBC quality standards and ontime completion of finished goods.
Perform maintenance on the machine accordingly on set PM time.
Perform measurement and quality checks on manufactured parts.
Reporthardware inventory level to the Team Leader for replenishment orders.
Ensures work areas are well arranged and maintained for a safe working environment.
Ensures documents, activities and machine setup measurements with parts are up to date.
Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by Team Lead.
Ensures compliance with inventory processes, procedures, and contractual obligations.
Evaluate and analyze manufacturing processes and operations, making suggestions for improvement where appropriate to increase productivity and minimize production costs.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
Ability to prioritize job tasks and adapt to change.
At least two years of experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand during work hours.
