ABOUT the Role:

Are you an experienced professional in the tree industry with a strong background in techniques and mastery of the trade? Are you looking for a way to continue working in the tree business but in a less physically demanding role? Our crane operator position may be the ideal opportunity for you to utilize your knowledge and skills without strapping on the spurs Being a Grapple Saw Crane Operator is like being a superhero for trees You get to use our PM65 knuckle boom crane to save the day by removing dangerous or unwanted trees.

You'll need to be a master of all things tree-related, like understanding the different cuts used by Arborists and knowing how to assess a tree's lean and weight distribution.

Oh, and don't worry, if you need to brush up on your skills, we'll pay for you to take courses so you can become the ultimate tree-removal expert.

It's a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to make a difference in your community. So, get ready to suit up in your high vis superhero outfit

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS ROLE: - At least 5 years of experience in the tree removal industry - A valid DZ or higher driving credential - Certification in Arboriculture best practices is preferred. - Knowledge and experience in operating knuckle boom crane - Strong understanding of tree lean and weight distribution - Understanding rigging and the various equipment often found on a tree removal truck - A willingness to learn and continuously improve skills.

$30.00-$42.00 per hour
