    We are currently seeking a Local Business Relationship Manager in the Vernon area to help us grow and maintain a portfolio of high-value micro-businesses and their owners. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, building, and retaining relationships with business customers in Vernon, providing them with comprehensive financial advice and solutions tailored to meet their business and personal banking needs.

    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain a network of key contacts to enhance the credit union's image.
    • Represent Prospera credit union in the local community.
    • Review portfolios, ensure customers have appropriate products, and provide financial advice.
    • Negotiate banking arrangements and assess loan applications.
    • Identify and address potential issues to minimize risks.
    • Coach and educate business customers to support their success.
    • Visit customers to observe operations, develop opportunities, and ensure loan security.

    What You Bring:

    • 3 years of retail lending experience or 2 years in small business management/lending.
    • Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Demonstrated success in business development and client management.
    • Strong organizational, tech-savvy, and deadline-oriented skills.
    • Proven track record of meeting goals and generating revenue.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
