Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care provides tree care services in the Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas. We are locally owned and operated.

Since 1977, we have studied this field and we strive to provide a high level of service and care, using the latest arboriculture techniques.

We promote training and growth within our industry, and we provide in-house training. We are members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as well as the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

Position Description:

The skills and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader or designated supervisor
  • Skills to operate chainsaws, chippers and other equipment
  • Properly maintain all tools and equipment
  • Ability to install and inspect structural support systems
  • Experience to safely prune or remove large limbs using advanced rigging techniques
  • Capability to drive a truck with a trailer
  • Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor, Arborist representative, or local manager
  • Abide by industry safe work practices

Experience/Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 23 years' experience climbing with ropes and harness in the tree care industry
  • Hold a valid "G" license required with a clean Driver's Abstract
  • Hold or working towards an ISA Certification or Ontario Licensed Arborist
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
