CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING


The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country.

The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others.

The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities:


  • Gather, prepare and analyze financial information
  • Ensure the information provided to our business partners are reliable and complete
  • Internal controls, monthend, results explanations & presentation, KPI, CAPEX followup etc.
  • Provide financial recommandations
  • Participate to continuous improvement initiatives, costs control
  • In order to do so, you'll have to:
  • Work closely with different business partners in the plant
  • Be rigourous and action oriented
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and thoroughness

  • You too, put forward your strengths:
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, administration or accounting;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Have a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining it (an asset);
  • Be bilingual
  • Knowledge of SAP & Power B I (strong assets)
