Client Services Coordinator with Local Leading Non-Profit Organization
The Client Services Coordinator welcomes a diverse group of clients and records their visits along with relevant data prior to them accessing perishable and non-perishable grocery hampers.
The Client Services Coordinator efficiently runs intake by:
- Recording relevant client data
- Ensuring a safe and respectful environment for volunteers and clients
- Communicating procedures and processes with clients
- Supervising fellow staff and volunteers to ensure a positive experience for clients
Major Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure client distribution stations are manned with volunteers
- Reviewing distribution amounts and product availability with the Warehouse Supervisor before each shift
- Processing clients in a kind and respectful manner
- Organizing the intake desk and the Baby Bank shelving and cupboards
- Ensuring the Baby Bank is fully stocked
- Following intake operations and procedures (provided document)
- Reporting any low quantities of baby items to the Director of Warehouse Operations for reordering
- Completing other duties as assigned
- Attending weekend and evening events as required/requested
Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent knowledge of social service agencies and government services
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good organizational ability
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deescalate situations when required
- Prior experience managing a team in a not for profit is an asset
