Responsibilities:


  • Operating, maintaining, and/or repairing equipment and systems as well as completing equipment startup, shutdown, and isolation.
  • Working effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve, and escalate operational and safety issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, procedures, and sitespecific training.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and documents and submitting reports as required.
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Following prescribed safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade XII education.
  • 4th class Power Engineering Certification, Gas Processing certification, CPET or PETC, and/or equivalent trade tickets considered a strong asset.
  • 25 years pipeline and/or oil and gas experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience in gas/NGL processing and/or field operations considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in railcar loading considered an asset.
  • Selfmotivated and energetic with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer and problemsolving skills.
  • Able to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Permanent residency within 100 km of the Sarnia Facility.
  • Compliance with the company's Drug & Alcohol Policy.
  • Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
