Who We Are


SFU's Semester in Dialogue is a program designed to inspire students with a sense of civic responsibility and encourage their passion for improving society.

Housed within the SFU's Morris J.

Wosk Centre for Dialogue, each semester the program offers an original, interdisciplinary experience that bridges the classroom with the community and creates space for students to reflect on what they are doing and why it matters.


About the Role


The Program Coordinator is the front-facing and main staff member of this program and will play a critical role in re-launching our Fall 2023 semester.

The position will administer the program while working closely and collaboratively with faculty and staff to plan the course schedule, create communications plans and materials with the Centre's Communications team, assist with the recruitment efforts of potential students, liaise with guest thought leaders and perform day-to-day operations to ensure the Semester's success.


You are a self-starter who works collaboratively with others and brings innovative ideas and energy to an undergraduate course focused on community-engaged learning.

You are organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work closely with faculty while also engaging with other Centre staff.

You take pride in your work and strive for excellence in serving the student community, knowing that your input is valued and contribute to student success.
