Job summary
This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - YOUTH SERVICES, NOTRE DAME HOUSE. The Community Resource Centre Youth Support Worker will be responsible for assisting clients in housing readiness with a focus on stability support, landlord advocacy skill building, crisis prevention and intervention, supportive counselling, advocacy, social/recreational programming,life skills building (i.e.: cooking, laundry, cleaning budgeting etc.), providing referrals to community services and coordinated access,
supporting the development of personalized counseling plans and maintaining a caseload.
- Case management with community youth accessing the Community Resource Centre
- Creating implementing facilitating group programming
