Laboratory Analyst (Full-time)

Inorganic Wet Chemistry Lab

As a Laboratory Analyst, your main responsibilities are to:
To analyze samples by ISE, titration, spectrophotometry, combustion and/or colorimetry:

  • Analysis of water/filters/soils and food products according to SOP.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment/methodology.
  • Follow all relevant SOPs, WIs and QA requirements.
  • Use SAIL and summary reports to plan and organize work.
  • Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and update current SOP under the guidance of Senior Analysts/Supervisor.
  • Keep work area clean, neat and organized.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

You are the ideal Laboratory Analyst, if:

  • College Diploma/University Degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Previous experience with Inorganic instrumentation is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions.
  • Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated individual with a "cando" attitude.

Work Schedule will be Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 8:30 pm and weekends as required
