Description

Help us enable even more peace of mind

  • Iridia was founded on the premise that broader access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) would save lives. Since then, we've built and staffed Canada's first privately owned mobile hospital and deployed it to provide care to BC's resource sector workers in the far North. Along the way we've been shortlisted as a Top 100 employer, acknowledged for rapid growth, and nominated as having one of the best corporate cultures.
  • The journey to date has been a rich one to be sure, but there is much left to do. Our values are our fundamental driving forces for decisionmaking. We have our sights set on making an even bigger difference in the health and wellbeing of everyone we connect with. And this is where you come in.

Role Specifics

  • There is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the health and wellness of those working in remote industrial sites and clinics in the oil & gas, utilities, and mining industries where we provide paramedicine support. In this role, you will be the sole practitioner but will need to collaborate with other Iridia Medical Team members (RN, ACP, PCP, LPN) from other nearby camps on the same project. This collaboration is instrumental in delivering the highquality medical care that Iridia clients have come to expect. In your camp, you will be responsible for the care of all injured/ill workers. In addition, you'll work with the site industrial hygienists to conduct screening tests for industrial hazards. The collaborative nature of the clinic is ideal for an ACP who is looking for a career in remote industrial paramedicine.
You will have the opportunity to grow your clinical skills by having 24/7 access to physician feedback and support. If you like the idea of expanding your skill set, providing a valuable and life-saving service to our valuable clients in various work environments, and growing your leadership skills, we look forward to hearing from you
