Position Summary:


Key Accountabilities:


  • Compose and/or editing a variety of documents, spreadsheets and presentations primarily relating to project financials.
  • Assists to assign project intake and Significant Expenditure Approval (SEA) business requests with appropriate supporting documentation to other internal Planning & Development (P&D) resources and tracks progress to completion.
  • Assists with administration and reporting relating to capital budgets SEA processing within the SharePoint Vendor Contract Management System (VCMS), systems hygiene, taking direction from the Project Accounting Analyst as required.
  • Supports project financial workstreams in the JDE Job Cost module as part of working committee to successfully deliver projects to meet business objectives.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly accruals (nonGTA Projects)
  • Maintains project business data reporting, produces timely and accurate reports and analyses for designated decision makers as directed.
  • Organize / schedule meetings as required.
  • Create and maintain templates for project forms, letters, tracking spreadsheets, etc., as necessary.
  • Assists to maintains department shared files (i

e, VCMS, Teams, G:
Drive) nomenclature, repositories and appropriate hygiene best practices.

  • Assists to update department policies and procedures documents as required based on applicable business or regulatory updates.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Qualification Requirements:


  • 25 years project accounting experience
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Service oriented approach internally and externally
  • Professional and serviceoriented demeanor
  • Able to manage confidential information
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with business analytics and reporting
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, Procore, Sharepoint, MS Project an asset
  • Basic understanding of business and project management techniques
  • Experience in the gaming and/or hospitality industries is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint an asset
