Summary:
Reporting to the E-commerce & Data Analytics Manager, the Data Analyst is responsible for the analysis of omnichannel sales, performance, and behavioral data.
This role requires an entrepreneurial outlook as we continue to find new ways to interpret and communicate actionable insights to key business stakeholders.
Location:
This position is a hybrid role that allows for 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Build data visualization dashboards, tools, and infrastructure (Microsoft Power BI) that allow for the sharing of key metrics across multiple business groups.
- Curate datasets from SQL databases to analyze and provide answers to a wide range of business inquiries.
- Write codes to aid in data extraction and automation using APIs from internal and external sources.
- Develop sales and KPI forecasts for omnicampaigns and eCommerce initiatives in collaboration with multiple departments.
- Perform merchandise and product forecast analysis, transaction data analysis, seasonal merchandise demand analysis, and assist with customer lifetime value management reporting.
- Translate raw data and marketing results into easytounderstand findings, including preparation of executive summaries and business reviews.
- Aid in data validation to ensure accuracy of shared visualizations and datasets
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in computer science, statistics, or equivalent work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- 2+ years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- A minimum of 1year experience working with SQL and Python
- Demonstrated experience with BI Tools (MS Power BI preferred)
- Experience gathering data from varying sources using APIs
- Experience interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Google Cloud Platform experience is an asset
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and creative solutionbuilding mindset
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work with good timemanagement skills
- Adapts to change in a fastpaced, deadlineoriented environment
