Position Summary:


Reporting to the Interim Manager By-Law and Licensing, the Administrative Assistant Licensing will help the Town achieve higher performance by supporting the Manager, By-Law Supervisor/Prosecutor, and By-Law Enforcement Officers in their daily duties.


The Administrative Assistant Licensing will provide administrative support, research and coordination as required within the Legal Services Department, specifically related to the Town's STA Licensing Program in accordance with established policies and procedures.


What you will need:


  • Requires 2year postsecondary in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience in a municipal environment, preference will be given for experience in legal services or related environment.
  • Requires at least two years experience in dealing with public inquiries and concerns.
  • Experience ensuring documents are AODA compliant an asset.
  • Must have good organizational skills to maintain records and ensure reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the basic care and proper usage of office equipment.

What we offer:

This is a full-time opportunity at the Town. The annual salary range for this role is
$58,185 - $68,068 (2023 Rate).** The Town also offers the following to our employees:
